General - V24
Low density foam general foam used for art and crafts, various upholstery uses, headboards and packaging purposes.
Not suitable for seating.
Medium- V30
Medium density foam used for occasional use seating such as cane furniture cushions, garden furniture cushions, boat seating and dining chair pads.
Firm - RF34
Robust foam used for frequent use seating such as sofas and chairs ect. This is an ideal foam to replace fibre or feather seat cushions in 3 piece suites as it doesn't need to be constantly 'plumped up'.
Chip Foam - 6 lb Recon
This foam is very firm and hardwearing. It is often used in products such as crash mats, church or garden kneelers and various other areas where a great amount of impact/pressure is focused on a small area.
Memory Foam - Vasco 40
Memory foam is heat sensitive and quickly moulds itself to your body shape providing all over support This has led to it being popular in many orthopaedic products such as mattresses, mattress toppers, pillows, insoles, leg raise cushions, haemorrhoid rings and is also a popular filling for other items such as bean bags and pet beds.
This foam is not recommended to be used for general seating foam.
Dacron
Dacron is a polyester batting that should be added to any foam surface so that it will not be exposed directly to the fabric.
Stockinette
Stockinette forms a barrier between foam and cover. This allows for ease of fitting and helps prevent premature wear to the cushion cover fabric
